Global Game Jam is world’s largest game jam event. There are all sorts of games: video games, board games, card games, playground games or in our case escape games. The game jam makes it possible to made games from start to finish in one weekend.
Think of it as a hackathon focused on game development. It is the growth of an idea that in today’s heavily connected world, we could come together, be creative, share experiences and express ourselves in a multitude of ways using games – it is very universal.
China EGA Escape Room Conference

This is the second year of this conference. It’s held by China Escape Game Association(EGA), the only and authorized organization of the escape game industry in China. The topic this year will focus on the rise of immersive game with actors and the how to deal with Fire Safety Regulation in China.
At the same time, China EGA will also run a contest of picking the TOP 10 games of 2017 in every city in China. There will be experienced players and experts to attend the selecting process. The final results will be announced on the conference, the winners will get an official award from the association.

ERIC: Annual UK Escape Room Industry Conference

ERIC is the national conference held in UK. ERIC 2018 following last years format there will be two streams of speakers running concurrently, as well as Q&As and panels with industry leaders.
This year we will also be offering a few interactive and hands-on workshops and tutorials covering subjects such as tech implementation, aesthetics and set-dressing techniques and creative brainstorming. These will have limited availability and you will need to sign-up prior to the event; details on how to do so will be released in the near future.
